Dynarex DynaGuard Waterproof Composite Wound Dressing 4" and 6" sizes
Dynarex’s DynaGuard Waterproof Dressing is a sterile, multi-layered foam dressing that provides a warm moist healing environment. The waterproof top layer acts as a bacterial barrier, protecting the wound from any outside liquids that can cause infection. The inner foam layer absorbs drainage, while the low-adherent contact layer and adhesive non-woven fabric border provide protection to the wound bed and are gentle on the skin.
- Multi-layer, medium-absorbency dressing used for moderate-exuding wounds.
- Four-layer construction:
- Semi-occlusive barrier film top layer covers the wound pad area and acts as a waterproof contaminant barrier.
- Absorbent foam pad inner layer absorbs drainage (exudate) from the wound.
- Low-adherent contact layer sits directly over the wound bed and is gentle on the skin.
- Conformable, adhesive non-woven fabric border that adapts to the body for a secure and comfortable seal.
- Four-layer construction:
- Helps provide optimal moist healing environment with protection from outside contaminants.
