Description

Medline Thigh High Anti-Embolism Stockings, Open Toe, 6 pairs/box

Provide a tailored, contoured fit with just the right amount of gradient pressure. Medical-grade compression (15-18 mmHg) for non-ambulatory patients. Stockings are individually pair-packaged and color-coded. Compression therapy is recommended by hospitals and physicians to help prevent DVT and for other indications. In addition, athletes, travelers, pregnant women and workers who are on their feet all day are seeking relief for their own tired, achy legs.

  • Tailored, contoured fit designed to deliver 15 mmHg to 18 mmHg of gradient pressure to increase bloodflow and decrease risk of DVT.
  • Pressure greatest at ankle and gradually reduces through length of leg ideal for nonambulatory patients.
  • Constructed from 80% nylon and 20% spandex.
  • Single patient use. Can be machine-washed with warm water on the gentle cycle (hosiery bag recommended). Dry on low heat settings. Do not iron, bleach, or dry clean.
  • Packaged 1 pair of white stockings per pack, 12 pairs per box. A ruler for sizing is included in each box.
  • Sizing:
    • Please refer to the size guide in the product images.
    • Color-coded toe and top band to denote size and length.
    • Precise measurement = accurate measurement = comfortable fit.
    • If between sizes, size up on circumference and size down on leg length. Different measurements for each leg will require 2 different sizes.
    • Try to measure first thing in the morning when swelling is at a minimum to help you get the most accurate fit.
    • If not in the morning, elevate feet for 30 minutes before measuring.
    • Measure around the ankle at the narrowest point (just above the ankle bone), around the widest part of your calf, around the widest part of the thigh, and the distance from the floor to the gluteal crease.
