What is a cleanroom mask?

A cleanroom face mask is a specially designed mask manufactured with lint-free and non-shedding materials. Worn over the nose and mouth, cleanroom masks protect the wearer and the critical environment from contamination. Most cleanroom masks are packaged in bags rather than boxes to reduce the chance of shredded cardboard material entering your facility.

Cleanroom masks are cleanroom-processed, manufactured, and packaged inside a controlled environment. Sterile masks come individually wrapped and contain a certificate of sterility. Ear-loop cleanroom masks are the most common class, but N95 respirators come in other styles.

What is an M5 face mask?
