These sterile rayon swabs are made of a synthetic spun fiber that doesn't contain ingredients that might damage specimens or interfere with specimens while transporting to a lab or medical facility. Each U.S. Pharmaceutical-grade rayon swab has a plastic or wood shaft handle. These low-lint swabs are individually wrapped to prevent sample contamination, which makes them suitable for DNA testing and screening.

We also carry Puritan's miniature sterile rayon tip nasopharyngeal swabs with flexible aluminum shafts which minimizes patient discomfort during specimen collection.
