Medline SORBEX Sterile Absorbent Dressings
Premium multi-layer, highly absorbent, hospital-quality dressing made for heavier draining wounds. Sorbex dressings are nonadherent, protect wounds, and helps lower your total costs by reducing the need for multiple dressing changes and the associated nursing time, as well as the cost of the dressings such as gauze, nonadherent pads and ABD pads.
- Super-absorbent dressing made for heavier draining wounds. Can be used as a primary or secondary dressing, and for ulcers, surgical incisions, and 1st or 2nd degree burns. Secure with adhesive medical tape, nonadherent medical wrap or stockinette sleeve.
- Multi-layer construction:
- Non-adherent outer layer does not stick to wounds or cause trauma to wound sites during dressing changes.
- Cellulose inner sheets wick away fluid.
- Thick fluff inner layer absorbs fluid and provides cushioning to protect the wound.
- Hydrophobic back layer helps prevent strikethrough; blue backside makes proper placement intuitive.
- High absorbency helps reduce the risk of maceration to the wound and surrounding tissue.
- Fully sealed construction helps eliminate frayed edges and linting.
