Medline Maxorb Extra CMC / Alginate Dressings in Educational Packaging
- Primary dressing with superior fluid handling is ideal for moderate to heavily draining partial and full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, donor sites, lacerations and abrasions, and first- and second-degree burns.
- Contraindications: Third-degree burns, dry wounds, for use as a surgical sponge, patients with a known sensititivy to alginates.
- Highly absorbent dressing wicks fluid vertically, not laterally, to help prevent periwound skin maceration.
- Dressing remains intact when wet.
- Up to 7-day wear time.
