SurePrep Rapid Dry Barrier Film is a unique, non-stinging, non-cytotoxic skin protectant. The alcohol-free rapid-dry formulation dries in 30 seconds to provide protection that can be worn up to 72 hours.

  • Protects damaged or intact skin - from moisture associated skin damage (MASD), friction and adhesive trauma.
    • MASD: incontinence associated dermatitis, intertriginous dermatitis, periwound moisture associated dermatitis, peristomal moisture associated dermatitis.
    • Friction and shear: injury from medical devices, shear caused by repositioning.
    • Adhesive trauma: skin tears caused by adhesive stripping.
  • Precision application - "Wand" applicator format allows for precision application to sensitive and hard-to-reach areas.
  • Improves dressing adherence - Extends wear time of dressings by improving adherence.
  • Rapid drying, long-lasting -  Dries within 30 seconds and provides protection for up to 72 hours.
  • Alcohol-free - Nonstinging, noncytotoxic formula for enhanced patient comfort.
  • Transparency - allows for continuous visibility when assessing skin.
  • Packaging - Individually wrapped, sterile 1 ml single-use wand, 25 wands per box. 4 boxes per case = 100 wand applicators.

Instructions:

  • Application: Clean and dry the skin prior to applying. If an area is missed, reapply to that area only after the first application has dried (approximately 30 seconds).
  • Change Frequency: May be reapplied every 24-72 hours, depending on the frequency of cleaning.
  • Removal: Can be removed by using most medical adhesive removers.
