Medline Puracol Plus Collagen Wound Dressing
- Puracol Plus collagen wound dressings jump-start the wound healing process, making them ideal for chronic and stalled wounds.
- Indications: pressure, venous, diabetic ulcers, partial and full-thickness wounds, ulcers caused by mixed vascular etiologies, partial and full thickness burns, donor sites and other surface wounds, abrasions, traumatic wounds healing by secondary intention, and dehisced surgical wounds.
- Contraindication: active vasculitis or patients with known sensitivity to collagen; product not indicated for third-degree burns.
- High-quality 100% collagen powder maintains a high degree of nativity.
- High gel integrity helps the dressings stay in good contact with the wound bed over time.
- Effective under compression and may be layered for deep wounds.
- Size: Available as 1" x 8" rope, and 2" x 2.25" and 4.25" x 4.5" dressing. Also available fenestrated. Dressings can be cut to size if necessary.
- Packaging: 10 individually wrapped sterile wound dressings per box, 5 boxes per case = 50 collagen wound dressings.
